    Trauma

Trauma blocks us from being present and puts us in reaction to life.

It is an emotional wound that does not heal with time.

It shows up in all our relationships.

We get lost in hurt and suffering.

    Separating us from ourselves

    Blocking our potential and possibilities.

Our creativity, imagination, and innovation begin to atrophy.

We owe it to ourselves to clear what is not our nature.

    Psilocybin

Microdosing psilocybin or “magic mushrooms” is on the rise. More and more people are preferring to take psilocybin for depression, anxiety, paranoia etc., because there are no horrible side effects. Doing my own research, I found many scientists are saying that it integrates the communication system in the brain, reducing hierarchy. For example, in our consumer society, we value head/intellect over heart/emotions. What psilocybin does is equalize rational intelligence with emotional intelligence. It connects intuition, perception, creativity, and sensory functions. It opens up new pathways of learning. It invokes neuroplasticity. Welcome to the new age. Linking as opposed to ranking.

    Shadow Work

Shadow work is a type of therapy developed by Carl Jung that focuses on the hidden parts of the psyche. It may help people learn to be honest about the parts of themselves they may not like and then eventually accept their whole selves.

Shadow work involves working with your unconscious mind to uncover the parts of yourself that you repress and hide from yourself. This can include trauma or parts of your personality that you subconsciously consider undesirable. Anyone can do shadow work on their own.

    About

I'm Azzah, a seasoned trauma therapist with a unique journey shaping my approach. Raised on an Australian ranch, I learned from Aboriginal Elders before embarking on a 23-year exploration of Asia.

For three decades, I've traversed five continents, leading transformational seminars and life coaching sessions. My qualifications include a six-year Gestalt therapy program in Tokyo and summer intensives in San Francisco.

In my practice, I specialize in trauma release, offering private therapy, group sessions, and retreats. I've intervened in crises worldwide, from rescuing victims of sexual slavery in Southeast Asia to educating girls in Nairobi about the dangers of female circumcision.

My work extends to diverse communities, from counseling Jewish members in New York to organizing conferences on Women's Wisdom. Notable collaborations include running through Japan with civil rights leader Denis Banks and studying various healing modalities across Asia.

Featured in global media outlets, from Japan Times to New York TV, my expertise spans psychic healing, Tao Energy Diagnosis, and dance therapy. I've trained with renowned figures like Dr. Gabor Mate and Indigenous healers like Don Pablo.

With a rich tapestry of experiences, I offer holistic healing and psilocybin retreats grounded in compassion and insight.

  • Magic Mushrooms as Medicine?

What are we learning about psilocybin’s therapeutic potential?

This new wave of psychedelic research has shown promising results.

We’ve learned psilocybin can have anti-depressant and anti-anxiety effects that last for several months.

It also appears to be helpful in the treatment of depression and anxiety in people who are terminally ill. And, for nicotine and alcohol dependence.

Psilocybin may also increase the brain’s ability to create new emotional and information pathways.

While we’re beginning to understand psilocybin’s potential, there’s also risks.
